West Lake
West Lake, affectionately known as "Big West" by the hermit French Louie who called this lake his home, is a large lake in the West Canada Lakes Wilderness Area. This region is absolutely beautiful (but then again I have yet to see anything but an absolutely beautiful view in the Adirondacks), and this photo doesn't do justice to the beauty of the view. I apologize, but the sun was setting on a 21-mile day, and it was the best I could do.
