Twin
Lakes
Twin Lakes is actually a small lake (singular) that was at one time dammed,
presumably as a feeder for the Black River Canal. The Lake is located in the
southwest part of the park. This photo was taken on my second trip to Twin
Lakes; the first time I was there was in the winter when my brother and I,
both on skis, passed a snowmobiler who was also heading to the lake (yes, we
were moving faster on skis than a motorized vehicle). The lake is beautiful,
and it was fun to explore the fast-moving creek below the now-breached dam.
