Russian Lake
Russian Lake is a very small lake located 0.75 miles from Big Moose Lake. It is lightly used due to the fact that the trailhead is boat-access only. The trail is a very easy yet delightful walk through some old-growth forest. When I was at Russian Lake we saw a beaver swimming across the Lake, which was a great finish to a great day (I had covered 14 miles by foot and another 10 or so by boat while visiting 5 wilderness lakes that day).
